This weekend is the start of the 6 Nations rugby tournament. Rugby is one of my favourite sports, which I played for over 10 years. Looking to see how the England players have been training & how they perform throughout the 6 Nations tournament.
Supplements & nutrition is a huge part of training, especially with the strength and recovery a rugby player needs in a tournament. The 3 supplements I would pick to help a rugby player meet the extreme demands placed upon their bodies would be:
Multi Pro All-in-One Blend
Multi Pro is a premium all-in-one sports supplement designed to promote gains in strength and size whilst supporting maximum exercise recovery. Packed with a unique combination of proteins, carbohydrates, creatine and amino acids this formula provides the vital nutrients your body demands during intense periods of training.
Creatine Monohydrate Capsules
Creatine Monohydrate increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise.
Protein TNT Collagen Powder
TNT Protein Collagen provides essential amino acids for the repair and recovery of muscle, and joint protection, rebuilding tissues (ligaments, tendons and bones).
Rugby players are continually on the move during a game – reacting to the opposition, adjusting position or generally keeping up with the play of the ball.
With repetitive phases of play and quick turnovers of the ball, rugby players need great amounts of both muscular and aerobic endurance.
Lets see how England play in the 6 Nations. Can we win it again?!
WORKOUT TIP: Cut Pain, Increase Gain
Count your repetitions backward. When you near the end of the set, you’ll think about how many you have left instead of how many you’ve done.
